ANNOUNCING: Synth Remix | U.K. Tour 2018

In Winter 2018, _REMIX will launch their latest night, Synth Remix. Using DJ sets and live performances to celebrate the pioneering women of electronic music including Delia Derbyshire, Daphne Oram and Laurie Spiegel, Synth Remix will launch in London before touring throughout the U.K.

Synth Remix

Throughout the 1960s and 70s a group of pioneering women working at the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, Bell Labs and elsewhere, developed and composed for innovative early synthesisers. Synth Remix will use live performance to explore the living potential of this radical music as well as these composers' technological and creative legacy.

_REMIX have partnered with instrument makers Roland for loan of a range of synthesisers. Our London performance will be broadcast live on digital station, Resonance EXTRA.

Synth Remix is supported through Sound and Music's Composer-Curator Scheme with funding from Arts Council England and the PRS for Music Foundation.
